New Orchestra for Adelaide!

South Australia's newest orchestra - The Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra - has arrived and is about to make its debut. The newly formed orchestra is pleased to announce its Inaugural Concert.

Two years of planning has now resulted in a full symphony orchestra being formed that is dedicated to musical outreach, engagement and the building of positive social capital in our community.

With a theme of Ecstatic Dance the Inaugural Concert promises to be an exciting and enjoyable afternoon of musical entertainment.

The founder and Music Director of the orchestra is Kevin Cameron, a leading South Australian conductor and music educator.

"I am very excited about the birth of MetSO. The orchestra and I look forward to making a real and positive difference to the community through our music making," said Dr Cameron.

The Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra Inc. is supported by Campbelltown City Council.
